I went to Hiro’s once for a company Christmas party and based on that meal I will never go back. Every roll was covered in roe, I don’t know why but every roll had it. The service was slow and the presentation of the rolls was underwhelming. If I was to place it on a list, I would put it one notch above buying Price Chopper sushi.

I’ve been to the Sake Cafe several times. It is a little on the small side and last I knew it was still without a liquor license. Their Godzilla roll was outstanding but they seemed to lack the ability to make a Spicy Maki combo that really stands out.

If it’s anything like the one near Albany Med (which we gave a rating of 4.3 / 5) it should be quite good, a touch trendy, with a somewhat classy and relaxed ambiance.

Interesting. I noticed that it’s based off 1991 FDA data. Has the FDA not released updated data since then? Seems reasonable to believe that things could have changed quite a bit in the last 20 years.
